Tanago-Micro Fishing

My latest obsession, well maybe obsession is too strong of a word, is Tanago fishing, which I learned about from Chris Stewart over at tenkarabum.com while at the Somerset Fly Fishing Show. I like the idea of being able to fish in a stream walking distance from my home, that is overlooked for any kind of fishing, plus I get to buy new equipment. Best part of this video is around 0:30 where he switches from his tanago fishing rod to a tree branch.

So I will be haunting drainage ditches this summer, hoping to hook a fish smaller than a quarter, fishing with a rod that looks like a conducting baton, and using a 1/2 piece of rice as bait. Life is good!
