Friday Goldbrick 712

. . . . . . . . You Tubes . . . . . . . .

What can I say?  I have become a fan of Mr. Dunkinson.  Can't get enough.  Purrrty Perch, man.

. . . . . . . . Fly . . . . . . . .

I was cleaning out all of my Altoid "fly boxes" to try to find some wet flies and came across my stash of Eastern Green Drake emergers from a trip I took with my brother and entourage to the Delaware during this infamous evening hatch.  Everything you read about it is true, the mayfly, as well as the trout, are huge.  Expect to see more anglers than quantity of trout, but what trout you do see will be big and rising.  Just don't forget your Sulphur Parachutes as well as March Browns.  Stay late for the evening fall of Coffin Flies.

. . . . . . . . Firewater . . . . . . . .

And the official beer of the Eastern Green Drake Hatch?  It has to be High Life cooled in the East Branch of the Delaware.  Fishing all day and night around Memorial day can work up a mighty thirst.  Just be sure to stash your brew away from the lampreys.
